Study Design
A prospective birth cohort study involving pregnant women from all divisional health areas (DHA) of the Western Province of Sri Lanka.
Inclusion Criteria
- Pregnant women residing in DHA for over 5 years.
- Women attending booking visits before 12 weeks of gestation.
- Pregnant women with a smart mobile phone.
Exclusion Criteria
- Women intending to change residence during pregnancy.
- Women attending booking visits after 12 weeks of gestation.
- Pregnant women not literate in using a smart mobile phone.
Data Collection
Data will be collected using an interviewer-administered questionnaire and data extraction sheets at strategic points throughout the study period.
